One of our top priorities is to eradicate drugs in this country - The President

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu stated that eradicating drugs from this country is one of the top priorities.

In a social media post today, the President stated that 468.6 kg of drugs were captured in Maldivian waters. The street value of them is estimated to be around MVR 1 billion.

The President's message also stated that the government's top priority is to rid the country of drugs, and commended law enforcement authorities for their efforts in this area.
